A Cry for Peace
A Cry For Peace
Police sirens,
Family’s crying…
Too much mourning, due to Gun Violence…
The echoes of silence, races, of heart trauma…
We were put on earth to be giants,
Too many teen dreams left paralyzed, to be martyred…
Too many stories unauthored…
Narratives furthered, but never fully reached their destination…
Broken clocks of life,
When LOVE should have been the Prototype for the stories we write…
A helping hand, a helping heart, the art of sacrifice…
We should never have to pay the price for our rights,
When we are trying to pave a way for our life’s mission…
Pavements full of blood from the wisdom of our fallen soldiers…
Heroes,
Leaders,
Dreamers,
Believers,
Overachievers
The people who gave all for their life’s meaning…
To seek the rewards of life’s freedom…
Our kings & Queens…
Some who never got to fully live on the other side of those dreams…
Not celebrated enough here on earth…
But celebrated on the turf in the afterlife way too soon…
